Description

A combination of 4X4 trails, logger roads, single track, creek riding, and a short stop and hike. Take the Cliff trail until it intersects with the Roaring Run trail on the right. The Roaring Run trail is a combination of 4x4 and single track, it will drop into the valley, and merge with the creek. Follow the creek / Roaring Run trail until the intersection with the Jackson Trail, then turn right (NW). You will need to hike with the bike up the Jackson Trail. Ride the Jackson trail after hiking the short steep portion of the trail. At the intersection with the Ball Hill trail turn right. This trail is now a logger road. The logger road will take you back to the trail head and picnic area.

Directions

From the Breezewood exit of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take US Highway 30 East for 4 miles to Pennsylvania highway 915. Pass intersection with Pennsylvania 915 and travel for another .5 miles to Sideling Hill Picnic Area, located on the right side of the road before Bark Road. Park in the picnic area which is the trailhead.
